Cambridge, England, it was the one i thought i'd never miss ! " maybe we were one of the lucky ones" , maybe i'm just not quite strong enough ! Cambridge is best known as the home of the University of Cambridge, one of the world's premier universities. The university includes the renowed Cavendish Laboratory, Kings College Chapel, and The Cambridge University Library. The Cambridge skyline is dominated by the last two buildings, along with the chimney of Addenbrooke’s Hospital in the far south of the city and St. Johns College Chapel tower in the north.
According to the 2001 United Kingdom census, the city's population was 108,863 (including 22,153 students), and the population of the urban area (which includes parts of South Cambridgeshire district) is estimated to be 130,000. Cambridge is surrounded by many smaller towns and villages , this was supposed to be the easy part ! Clayton Nathaniel Valentine and his lovely wife Sienna Abigail, had gotten married at a very young age. They both came from very good families and decided they wanted their own house, one that would be their own from the start. So they paid countless men to start the construction of their home. It was finished a few years later, just in time for Sienna’s child to be born. They gave birth to a beautiful baby girl which they had named Shilo. Shilo grew up like any normal girl who was born into a lot of money would.
When Sienna and Clayton realized Shilo was hearing things, she was only eight years old. They had doctors and many therapists in town tried and help her. They soon found out it was schizophrenia, a mental illness and not a phase like they were hoping. The house soon became more of a hospital. Shilo always locked up inside never being able to go out. A few years later Shilo committed suicide leaving a note say the voices had made her do it. From then on The Valentine’s had left the home open to people with problems like Shilo’s. They added more and more rooms to accommodate everyone and it was soon no longer a home but a hospital. , but breaking down is what I found hard ! A mental disorder or mental illness is a psychological or behavioral pattern that occurs in an individual and is thought to cause distress or disability that is not expected as part of normal development or culture. The recognition and understanding of mental health conditions has changed over time and across cultures, and there are still variations in the definition, assessment, and classification of mental disorders, although standard guideline criteria are widely accepted.
Over a third of people in most countries report meeting criteria for the major categories at some point in their life. The causes are often explained in terms of a diathesis-stress model and biopsychosocial model. Services are based in psychiatric hospitals or in the community, and mental health professionals diagnose individuals by various methods, often relying on observation and questioning in interview. , now i'm wearing this smile that i don't believe in ! The staff and doctors at St. Valentines are here to help your troubled family members from the fantasy that they believe is a reality. This institution is open to all ages and problems no matter how large or small they are. Our doctors have all studied psychiatry, and we have the best Psychiatrists that money can buy. We first opened in the nineteenth century when schizo’s and all other forms of mental insanity was said to spread, and after over 50 years of being closed we have re-opened in the hopes of regaining our former glory. Call for your appointment today!
